Washingtonian Mom
I’m honored to have been a part of this season’s Washingtonian Mom Magazine, a new magazine for & about DC Moms. Terri Sapienza wrote a great article about 5 local designing mamas, including (gorgeous!) friends: Marika Meyer, Iantha Carley, Nadia Subaran, and Stuart Nordin.
Pulling the shop together for the photoshoot was insanity for us. It took place a few weeks before our shop furnishings were scheduled to arrive, so we moved furniture (including a sofa) out of our house and into the shop for the day. We had fun though, and like pretty much all manic things we do for work, it was so worth it.
I had such a great time mingling with other moms over champagne (and cured meats = nothing better 😉 at the Launch party a few weeks ago. Editor-in-chief Kate Bennet is so much fun!!

If you’ get the chance, definitely check it out. It’s full of lots of inspiring stories about cool moms. I was pretty much blown away by News Anchor Eun Yang, in all that she accomplishes each day as outlined in the article, and in her real-life candidness. (Love her!) To quote Jerry Maguire, the whole thing made me want to be a better mom 😉 😉
