There’s No Place Like Home
A childhood fantasy of mine was fulfilled this weekend when I found a pair of sparkling ruby slippers at a costume shop!! These things make me happy on another level. It’s that type of night-before-Christmas-little-kid-happy. I am aware of what I sound like. And I’m okay with it.

I’ve been searching for a pair for years… even attempting to squeeze my foot into children’s shoes to no avail. I’ve looked online and have always found high heeled versions so this must be a newly released shoe. I wanted them in flats so I could be comfortable and pair them with jeans. (I’m not kidding. These are my new party shoes.)
{I need a pair of blue ankle socks… hahaha}
I am in love.
I’m wearing them as I write. (And they will be on my feet to my client presentation in a couple of hours because my client will understand 😉
