Our House Is Being Published By…

…one that showed homes that were just a little more energized and youthful…

…one that celebrates the beauty in imperfect…

….This magazine introduced me to one of my favorite designers, Peter Dunham…

 … and featured many of the greats like Thomas O’Brien…

… I’ve poured over many of the homes featured in it for hours and hours on end, taking in all of the details:  cool, relaxed interiors that celebrate the creative people who live in them…

…People who decorated outside of the box…

…And showed how chic it is to live causally and comfortably…

…Mixing of old and new, modern and traditional, dark and light and everything in between defined it…

… And a lot of us were pretty sad when it closed a few years ago…

…And equally as ecstatic when we heard it had relaunched just a couple of months ago…

DOMINO will be featuring our home in the Spring 2014 issue!!!

Editor-in-chief, Michelle Adams (who is incredibly sweet & down-to-earth) Creative Director Robert Leleux and Photographer Brittany Ambridge arrived at our place yesterday morning (in a snowstorm!!) to photograph it.  It was a whilrwind of a day but we ended up with really beautiful relaxed shots that I CANNOT WAIT for you to see!!  (They even shot pics in rooms I wasn’t planning on having photographed like our few-week old family room full of the randoms from our last house.)  I was so impressed with how efficiently and seamlessly the Domino team worked together yesterday and could tell that they’re extremely close-knit and really care about each other and the magazine.  (Plus they were incredibly kind to my crazy kids and were so much fun to be around. )  They’re awesome.  I’ll be sure to let you know when it’s out on newsstands in the Spring.  Can’t wait!!!

Also- thank you so much for everyone who came to our store opening last weekend!!!  It was I great to meet you and we really loved seeing you!!  We plan on having another open house party this Saturday-weather permitting- so I’ll be sure to post a yay or nay on Saturday depending upon the weather.  If the show hits again, we’ll definitely do it another day!  But for now, here’s our info:
