Beef Stroganoff
A cozy comfort food, our beef stroganoff is savory and fresh.

80/20 ground beef

mushrooms
chopped

parsley

white wine
(I recommend Pinot Grigio)

cup
sour cream
▢

cup
milk
(we use skin)

cup
flour
▢

lb
egg noodles or zucchini noodles or any veggie noodles

¼
cup
basil
julienned
▢
¼
cup
parmesan cheese
▢
salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
▢
In a large sauce pan on medium heat, saute onions.
▢
Add ground beef and cook on medium to high heat.
▢
Stir in minced garlic and add in chopped mushrooms.
▢
Salt and pepper to taste and drain fat once the meat is almost fully cooked.
▢
Add almost all of the chopped parsley. (Set a bit aside to garnish at the end)

Add flour and stir.
▢
Pour in white wine and bring to a low boil, add in milk and reduce heat and let simmer
▢
In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook egg noodles according to package directions OR lightly sauté zucchini noodles/ veggies noodles
▢
Once the beef mixture has thickened and all ingredients are fully combined, add in sour cream
▢
Allow mixture to continue thickening and warming on low heat.
▢
Salt and pepper to taste and add in julienned basil.
▢
Serve over cooked egg or veggie noodles
▢
Top with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese and the remaining chopped parsley!
