Spring has spring here in the DC area and I’m loving it! The cherry blossoms are out and the daffodils are everywhere!! I’ve been picking away and am really enjoying getting to experience the flow of the house- I’m especially loving how the sink/ flower arranging area in our laundry/mudroom is working for me.
Our goslings, Snowdrop & Primrose, are now 6 weeks old and growing by the minute it seems. Their white feathers are coming in and they are just the sweetest cuddlers!!
We’ve been planning out our goose pen/ fencing/ garden situation and wood was delivered today to get started! We’re putting the boys to work and I’m so excited about this!! A 7′ fenced in area will create a dee-safe area where I’m planning to grow flowers and larger things like pumpkins and gourds.
We’ve been hard at work on our Youtube channel and dopped a new episode of the Meadow today! To watch it, click here. This week’s episode is all about life when we first moved to the meadow, showing final punch list items and special projects like finding an old timber on the property and making a range hood out of it in the kitchen. My team created the board below based on the episode & if you click on the images, they’ll take you directly to the products/ recipe etc..
I hope you’re having a great week and happy April!!
