I hope you had a great weekend!!  It feels like I’ve been playing catch-up at work since returning home from Market (eeek emails!!) but I think I’m finally going to be back into the proper swing of things this week!!  Things are COOKING on our Great Falls rehab project (hoping to list it in December!!) – demo is done, framing is in- and I’m finishing up on final selections and colors, and we just signed on another one in Great Falls- a contemporary!!- so I’ve got to pump that design out ASAP!! (I’ll be sure to share a tour/ design intentions on that one soon!!)  There is so much going on that I couldn’t be more excited about- these investment properties, Down to Earth, special client projects both close to home and all across the country- our beach shack – which I’ve totally been back-burnering but I need to get a move on- the furniture and tile collections,  the new Lauren Liess & Co. shop, and a few other really cool things in the works for next year- but my head is SPINNING and I’m trying desperately to keep up with it all and to slow it down at home.

I tried to catch up on things this weekend and got a lot done so I can exhale a bit, but I was also able to fit in a fun little Homework project!!  A new episode of Homework is up and this week I realized it was time to get some bulbs in the ground for spring!! I love love love having flowers to cut in the spring- daffodils are some of my favorites- and so I decided to plant some clumps in front of my house for spring arrangements.  We already have a bunch – thanks to the previous owners of our home – but with flowers, more is more, and I’m hoping to continuously add flowers to our property throughout the years so eventually it’s just totally overflowing with them.  (I’ve always wanted to be that little granny living in a cottage being overtaken by flowers!!)

This week, I had a homework buddy- Aurora (2) and I’m going to say she started less than willing to help.  (But honestly, how is tossing things in a hole not fun?!!)

Eventually she totally got on board, though and I’ve got myself a new garden assistant.

And the weather has shifted to fall- I love it!- and it’s sweater season!!  In the video I’m wearing one of my staples (I have it in cream and went back and bought the navy last year I loved it so much) and I’ve linked to outfit details below.

sweater | jeans | boots
