Hello! Hope you’re having a great week!

Last week, I was on NBC 4 Washington with Erika Gonzalez talking holiday tables & I wanted to share!

We had so much fun and I set a super-easy table.  When Erika reached out about doing the story I told her how we really don’t do anything fancy around here for the holidays & how it’s almost always last-minute and she said not to worry- they were all good sharing the real stuff!!  I decided on a bare table and of course there was a bit of branch love…

TO see the quick segment, check it out here

And here’s a little peek at the finished table:  (complete with UN-finished art on the wall 😉 😉 )

As I mentioned in the HOMEWORK on branches, I love love love using branches to style homes, especially when we’re photographing them because they’re so big and dramatic yet simple and relaxed feeling.   Here’s a favorite branched-out table we did for my book, DOWN TO EARTH.  (It’s on super-sale right now with all of the holiday discounts & I’ve listed links to booksellers in the link.)

And finally, I’ve got a couple more book events coming up before the end of the year!  They’ve all been lots of fun and each one has been a little different.

This Thursday evening, I’ll be at Red barn Mercantile in Old Town, Alexandria at 6 PM for a fun Q&A/ conversation/ Drinks + eats if you’re in town!! Would love to see you!!  {Email amy@redbarnmercantile.com to for tickets}

Next week, I’ll be in NYC at the One Kings Lane store in Soho chatting about all things vintage + the book on a panel with the OKL team!  They’re carrying the Lauren Liess Furniture Collection and a couple of the pieces will be on display in the store next week- yay!

And the final event we’re doing this year is a fun Saturday morning signing and chat on December 14th 9 AM-11AM at Nest Egg in Fairfax!

Hope you to see some of you & have an amazing day!!
