Italian Chili

A warm and hearty soup that's perfect for feeding your family, or feeding a crowd.
Serving Size: 12 People, Prep Time: 10 Minutes, Cook Time: 1 Hour


  • 2 lbs Ground Beef
  • 1 Onion minced
  • 2 Zucchini minced
  • 8 oz Mushrooms
  • 1 Garlic Bulb crushed
  • 1 tbsp Rosemary
  • 4 Tomatoes chopped
  • 12 oz Tomato Paste
  • 13 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Basil Leaves fresh, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fennel Seeds
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese


  • In a large lidded pot, cook ground beef, onion, fennel seeds, rosemary, salt and garlic over medium heat until browned
  • Stir in zucchini and mushrooms and any other vegetables you’re using
  • Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce, and water
  • Season with basil, fennel seeds, salt, pepper and ½ the parsley
  • Simmer, covered, for 30 minutes to 1 ½  hours, (depending upon your patience level) stir occasionally
  • Garnish with the rest of the Italian parsley and parmesan cheese. Enjoy!
