Herb Salt

This is our “quickie” herb salt where we simply dry fresh herbs from the garden or market, grind them and mix them in with coarse sea salt. I keep a parsley salt next to the stove at pretty much all times and generally use it in most of our cooking until it runs out.

  • coarse sea salt
  • herbs our favorites are dried parsley, rosemary, and lavender

  • Grind herbs and add to a small bowl.
  • Add salt to the bowl, stir, and use a pestle to grind the herbs and salt together. Stop grinding when you've reached preferred salt coarseness.
  • Enjoy! There's no shelf life!
