Cozy Fall Rugs
I hope you’re having a great week! We’ve been working in the garden like crazy and it’s blowing my mind a bit that October’s already here!! It’s one of my favorite times of the year and it never feels long enough. In a few days, Dave and I will celebrate our 18 year wedding anniversary. (!!) After that, we’ve got Fall High Point Market and then we’re onto Halloween and of course all of the other kid functions in between. But before all of that, my next rug collection with Rugs USA is launching!!! (today!!!)
Partnering with Rugs USA has been truly gratifying because the team there is so talented, knowledgeable, and kind. With each launch, we’ve been able to grow the collection and create new pieces that embody the “down to earth” vibe I love so much. They have truly let me make this collection into what I dreamed it could be. This season, we’re introducing more natural fiber rugs (lol shocker!) more washables, along with more cottons and more wool rugs. The washables (above) are great for my life with 3 dogs and all the kids. I love the new machine washable rug we have in the boys bedroom (above right) because the dogs sleep in there with them and it’s nice to not have to get a rug professionally cleaned with “things” happen 😉
Of course I love a good natural fiber rug, and the jute shown in my living room (above) is STUNNING. We played with the direction of the weave to create a large striped pattern and it adds a bit of quiet energy to a room. The charcoal and brown washable rug in my mudroom (below) blends beautifully with our slate floors.
We have a bunch of beautiful new flatweave wool rugs like the Birchwood, below seen in my living room, which is reversible!! The backside is the exact opposite of the side we photographed- cream with natural stripes. I absolutely love a versatile piece like that that can be changed up throughout the seasons without spending an extra dime. (This beauty comes in 3 colorways.)
